Great video, very informational and well explained. The only thing... You should *never* pull the trigger when the hammer is cocked and the slide assembly is not on the frame assembly (@7:01) Of course once probably will not do any damage, but don't make a habit out of it ;)

Great easy to follow video. I've got a Taurus 1911 and after following other disassembly videos there were no good ones on reassembly, until yours. Aside from one small piece and the ambidextrous safeties that mine has, your video helped me get everything back together. Awesome vid and thanks for the help!

easy way to line up the disconnector and sear is to first put in a empty mag in the frame and that will help hold it in and line it up for you. Good job bro!
