This video will show you how to knit a scarf pattern that uses yarn overs and dropped yarn overs (also known as yo). The needle size used in this video is US10 / 6mm and the yarn is Caron Simply Soft.

  • Thank you for the video...I am considering giving it a try. If you wanted the scarf wider would you just add more stitches as long as it is even numbers like 24, 26, 28? Thx.

  • That's correct - to make it wider just add stitches. I've seen a blanket (throw) made out of this same pattern also - they added fringe to the ends for embellishment. It looked really nice!
