@LovesDivine19 I know this is a year late but I'll tell you that after his death was finally confirmed by the associated press, the TV show that was airing on MTV had just finished rolling its closing credits and then immediately started playing the "Billie Jean" video. Within a few seconds, an MTV news flash started scrolling across the screen. Later that night, the MTV news reporter named Sway was at the news desk announcing it and he also had other celebrities call in and talk.

gosh, i remember how hectic this day was. every single channel was reporting the news, reporters were rushing around just trying to find out the latest detail. and although i was sitting at my house watching it unfold, i felt like i was in the middle of the whole thing, right by michael's side. it was such a sad, crazy day. but brought michael back into better light for most people, nontheless. r.i.p., michael joseph ♥
