What technique was used for blending and smoothing colors?

Amazing tutorial! This reminds me of myself when I was a teenager - I loved computer art yet I was frustrated with what mouse and keyboard can do on a Windows PC. I finally found out about Wacom Bamboo tablet and it made painting with any computer so natural! I fell in love with digital painting, and I now recommend the Bamboo to anyone.

what advantage does adobe photoshop have over core photopaint?
Obionweluzo 5 months ago
@Obionweluzo I have never used photopaint, so I cannot say. Although I can say that Photoshop is used universally for painting amongst a large majority of digital artists, film studios, videogame studios, schools, etc. It's pretty much the standard.

why don't you use layers?
MillyVanillification 1 year ago
@MillyVanillification I do use layers, I just flatten a lot. The amount of layers usually depends on the complexity of the render. I don't remember if I used too many in this video.
