Z I would like you to make me a circuit board from a design I found for hydrostar. The main difference is that I want a system using no electrolite. Stan Meyers did not use anything but pure tap water. Hydrogen Mike call me please at 1-815-713-4480

heh heh heh .....!
My old friend and mentor Ed "Big Daddy" Roth used to ask me those kinds of questions too!

I am also looking forward to more vids of the EBN cell.
:D

wow Z your vids have convinced me that even I could make this PWM (granted it might take a long time, but it looks very doable). My hats off to you Z.
Keep up the good work.

A little late to the table, but your first photo shows a 7812 and then you refer to the "7809" and the photo @ 1:50 shows a 7910 (unless that's an 8 and my glasses need adjusting). I looked at the web site and see you settled on the 7810 for a 10 volt reference. Was 10 volts chosen for a specific reason (like minimum v-drop and heat loss and required v-difference), or is it what you happen to have in stock?

@BlackManOps You're right, it did evolve this way. The output of the 324 is Vcc-1.5v. The regulators also need at least 1.5v headroom. The MOSFET saturates with 10v gate drive. I wanted 12v regulated Vcc but cars don't always charge at 13.8. 10v was chosen because it's the highest voltage that still regulates down to 11.5v input, even though it means 8.5v drive to the gates. It's enough.

Z do you have the PDF file for stan Meyers? I do if you want it I can e-mail it to you. Hydrogen Mike

I have it. Thanks.

Do you have the old PWM (version 1) on a vehicle? And how about EFIEs? Have you seen any gains in MPG using these?

v1 is a bench instrument. It's not on a vehicle, therefore I have no data. That's what this is for.
