THIS is fucking Max Payne. the heart, soul, and essence of it all is here. It's Remedy's masterpiece. not only in league with the original but is debated to be better or not than it.
Max Payne 3 looks like R* molded GTA IV with Splinter Cell and Uncharted. not a bad idea, but not the same league as Max.

After I read they got James McCaffrey back to voice Max Payne, and the release date was not in the 2011-12 plans I got renewed hope. I hope that means they have put their previous ideas on the shelf and are going back to the roots and keep Max Payne where he is. I don't want the next instalment to be set about 12 years in the future. They can't take him out of New York and make him older in an instant like that, it's not fair on Max.

@kirkhammett1993 I appreciate this was a year ago, but look at the previews. MP3 looks awesome, and Rockstar seem pretty dedicated to making sure it lives up the quality set by the the first two. Rockstar aren't exactly known for rushing games to the market unfinished (and yes, it's a shame Remedy aren't involved, but they didn't want to carry on with the franchise).

this trailer still give me goosebumps since the first time i saw it.. its so amazing and still play the game from time to time :) i hope chapter 3 will not lose the reputation from the previous series

Max payne at it's finest...i'm preety sure that thousands of fans are going to be dissapointed with max payne 3...game producers have lost the spirit and the tradition and they dont care for the fans...they just want money and thats all...they couldve made a great thrilling NY game in this 3rd edition but no...they are fucking up a Legend..Max payne
