@hammammon hi mate, an ex Dutch army 5 season sleeping bag is the dogs danglies. I bought 2 and gave 1 to a friend we both swear by them. Second hand ones are getting scarce though.

@hammammon Wool blanket is not everything solution :) One blanket(any type thicker) if is not wet will help you aprox to 8-13 degree Celsius plus. If you want sleep in freeze(below zero(tipical fall morning temperature.frost water on plants)..you need 2-3layers of realy thick blankets . I use one sleeping bag folded under and over me and two thiner blankets, one is layed under me on other side like half of sleeping bag and third covers my feet..I am in middle and three layers around,it works
