the song is fantastic. though some orchestral score would have been great, too. but maybe its good that its different. a new way. like a fresh start. but anyway: nobody matches Captain Jean Luc Picard...Patrick Stewart is just a too damn good actor. especially live in stratford upon avon...RST ;-)

i love this intro...nothing wrong with it in my opinion...i mean yew dont hear people saying that the next generation intro is so crap coz it isnt like star trek TOS so in my opinion i like this intro...shows much more care if yew know what i mean ^_^
