Best Zombie movie ever I grew up watching this film and the remake. Wish the other ones were as good as this one, George Romero is a God at making horror films. I thought the other films would have some connection to this one but they had nothing in commin. They should of and it should of explained what caused the dead to come back to life and for Zombies to appear out of nowhere. Even though it'd probably just a virus but it could of explained that.
it actually mentions earlier in the movie that a satelite thing that came back from venus or something, was sending out high levels of radiation, which mutated the dead peoples brains, which is the whole reason you have to destroy the brain,so it did mention the cause of everything
Ugh, me too, when I was a little girl, I couldn't go down into my basement for a week after watching that scene, always afraid I was going to walk in on that girl murdering her mother.then afterwards turn on me.
Ya' know, that mom could have ran from that girl. I mean, shes freakin' SLOW! And it takes a while to kill some one with a spade or pie cutter or whatever.
