I think she is han chinese. She is the reporter's friend. At least this time CNN reporter is reporting some truth of the riot for the sake of his friend.

I went to Tibet in 2006 and most Tibetans don't engage in violence. The ones engaged in this riot are extremists, but violence and crime can not be tolerated,not for another 5000 years!Because it against Chinese foundational value: peace and harmony.
BTW,is she Han or Tibetan?
