Go with what YOU feel will get the job done. Me personally, I moved from FL Studio to the MPC. I own a 2000xl and a 4000. The 2000 is a classic. Search for one.

I'm not trying to hate either dog, but if you look at the video Lil Jon did on his Miko in 2007, these sound very similar. Good beat though for 5 min.

I see the Mpc on deck ! is that the 2000 or 2500? Anyway im about to purchase the 5k and I hear half he people say get it and the other half say get an older model but the ppl who never owned an mpc like e are the ones saying to get the 5k and what keyboard are you using if you mind me asking?
