@MrSaKaTaSaKaTa - Yeah pay that comment, more like parallels tho! I only asked because I have a tele style with a very thick clear lacquer on the neck & the action & look are awesome & would like to replicate it.

Is it possible to finish the fretboard in something (laquer / flat wood finish) or whatever even if the frets are already fitted?

nice job mate... i hear ya with the paper wiring diagram that comes with the very vague instructions. I'm pulling my hair out at the moment. So are you saying that if you simply follow the mockingbird diagram it all works?

@bm221021975 the link to the you tube video of the mockingbird wiring is on the guitar worx website, i just did what he did in the video, plugged it in while the solder was still cooling and it worked straight away :) @ MegaBdowell, mate i wouldnt laquer the fret board due to wear marks from playing would show up, then everyone would see your still playing stairway to heaven ;)
