Follow the video instructions.

The original Korg X3 files (from the floppy) can be found at the Yahoo Group "Korg-X3".

You need to join the group to abtain access.

when i upload the sysex files to my X3 it dont stop to dilsplay "processing" is this normal or??? and the sounds are not the real.. help please

All the answers are there, and all of the original KORG files are there too.

hi the screen or with few volts blaklihg works is that I will burn the transformer at the source that sends energy to the retention measures garment that reaches to the entrance of tranfo and I get 6 volts and the transformer and the low to to 1.5??? as I can because I do not get how I can reduce the tranfo energy value is needed thanks

After repairing switches from a broken X3 using a bustedgeardotcom guide (worked !!!), I also factory resetted the X3, so lost all Combo/Prog/Songs. I followed this great video to get the preloaded Combo+Progs+Songs back on my refurbished X3. For Combos and Progs it works OK (tried with MIDI-OX and XEDIT, both ok). But... for songs, it just doesnt work. The X3 remains "Processing" after the data was sent. Funny thing is that I sent them OK years ago. But forgot how I did it :( Any clues ? Ty

My X3 battery is about to die and I have all the custom settings in the last 16 years I need to backup before replacing the battery. But like so many others, my floppy drive died. I followed this excellent clip step by step and got all my files backed up on a laptop.

@rhomis I was wondering if you know anything about the Korg X3R ... I tried the steps in the video, however the rack version doesnt have a midi local setting. The machine stays stuck on "processing" when I use MidiOX to transfer sysfiles

Any ideas?
