  • I don't think he's on coke here though. I think he's just naturally high from talking about a project that he loves so much. Like he said he's still wrapped up in the process of making the film. Still mulling over shots and the editing. I feel like that after only 3 short films I've edited. It's exhilarating and exhausting. I can't imagine the elation he feels for his body of work. The guy is brilliant. Not a day goes by where I don't think about the "sisters" scene in Punch Drunk Love.

  • Am I the only one who thinks that PTA voice sounds a bit like Michael J. Fox?

  • Ummmm he wouldn't be eating if he was on coke. If you've ever done it before you would know this...

  • @Marcus092788 I didn't use any sources, I don't remember where I first heard or read that, although wikipedia would be pretty good for someone who claims to know more than a respected writer/director but actually has no idea what he's talking about.

  • @drummerjoe2610 You forgot to cite the wikipedia page that you copied and pasted all of that from :)

  • @Marcus092788 Scope is a very common reference to the aspect ratio, not just anamorphic, yes technically it's derived from cinemascope, which is dead, but many people in the industry use it to refer to anything 2.39:1. I can only acknowledge that you like to think you know more than he does.

  • @RICH020669 hahaha he does...never listened that close before.

  • seems like he's calmed down a lot now that he's gotten older

Interesting as hell how he predicted the death of the romantic comedy

  • seems like he's calmed down a lot now that he's gotten older

  • this guy is the best director working today

an also such a cool person
