@84Dirtboy GE incorporated a lot of the technology from the unducted fan designs into their GEnx engines.

An awesome concept introduced in early 80's. most fuel efficient and best performing engine! should be brought into production. technology has changed since 82, just think of the overall performance now.

@nurvus nah not really, i really don't know much about this. it just looked steeper than most airport takeoffs.
