This is just so good and brings back so many amazing memories. Thanks for making a dreary morning into a great day! Have just looked at all my photos again and realised this was definitely one of the best and friendliest places I have ever visited. WF made us feel very safe all the time. I've never had the hand of friendship offered so many times or been offered so many cups of tea

Absolute class!! How beautiful a place. Myself (Duckworth) and Lewis are very honoured you chose our little paen to Javed as the accompanying soundtrack. Lovely.

What a great video. Thank you for uploading. Reminds me of all the tours I have done years ago. Chitral, Rakaposhi, Pasu, Rakaposhi and Baltit and Altit fort.
Great job again. Anyone of you who have not seen this in person please do visit Pakistan and especially northern Areas it's just out of this world.

i was out in Pakistan recently and boy did this bit of footage bring back some memories - Excellent!!!! Thank you for posting.
Re security - don't be put off - life up in the northwest frontier seems to be ticking along much the same as usual. I didn't experience any anti-western sentiments (in fact, the opposit occurred) and I I was overwhelmed by the local peoples hospitality, graciousness and warm welcome.
Charlie this is really excellent! certainly brings the memories back! hope all is good??

@daveawatts I'm just sorry it took me so long! I took too much video, so my computer and memory couldn't handle it! Got a new hard drive for Christmas, and the long version of it is on its way...

It was - it was a great trip. Things were beginning to kick off when I was there; the Khyber Pass was closed (and that was the reason I went), the elections were on and turning violent, and on the last night the Marriott Hotel was bombed. But WF are excellent and very experienced, we felt as safe as could be (particularly away from the cities where it is pretty peaceful) - I'd highly recommend the tour.
