What is the average weight that those lorries carry. I mean the weight of the waste.

on avg 20-30 tonnes the weight with the truck is 44 tonnes

Many thanks, Most of the rubbish we get in is from demolition sites and transfer stations nothing to do with shop or household waste.

Not as much as you get from household waste but even demo waste you still get an element of organic material in with it

He is lucky the staff their help him unload. At our local landfill site they only help you if you get stuck and pull you out with their Cat 953 tracked loader. I know of 3 big hook bin trucks that tipped over sideways when unloading at our site over the last 12 yrs.
