This design not only shows how easy it is to add the small Digilent Pmod™ expansion modules to the Spartan®-6 LX9 FPGA MicroBoard, but also provides excellent code examples enabling quicker prototyping and testing of timing-critical, hardware interfaces.

The concept is really cool. I often work late nights at school and, if I had a dog, I would want to make sure he was fed properly in case I get stuck in traffic or simply otherwise cannot get home. The actual device seems flimsy though. Pedro is a small dog, and a larger, perhaps wall-mounted design would be more appropriate for larger dogs.
