This was on the Avid Media Composer. Normally do all my cutting on Final Cut Pro, though.

TRUE STORY: We were shooting the Sanitation application at a local dump and a random truck came in and dumped out a bunch of green John Deere parts....best Art Direction EVER! You bet we took some video (at :15 seconds into this show) of the 930G sweeping away the competition.

i own a 2007 cat 930g loader just like this one. i like it a lot. does everything i need it to do. nice machine, economical, efficient, quick. best way to go for moving around cars in a scrap yard

Companies like Cat, Komatsu, Volvo, etc are spending too much time making these things eco-friendly. It's a terrific idea, but it causes a lot of power loss in the machinery. I operate one of Caterpillars last (and in my opinion best) loaders, and that is the 980G, Series 2. After that the 980H is a crap bucket. My machine has almost 10,000 hours on it, and no leaks anywhere, and still runs like the day it was brand new.
