the bunkai I know for this kata wouldnt work with the range of movement in this clubs take on seienchin.
I'm not sure how it works in kyokushin? but in goju ryu we maintain the same height untill steping into sanchin datchi before the rising elbow.

The series of (3) stances Shihan steps into after meditation are shiko-dachi, or sumo stance, not kiba-dachi. Beautiful kata! OSU!

Tradition, tradition, tradition!
THIS is how Karate is supposed to look! anyone who practices REAL Martial Arts, this is a shining example of what to emulate!
whether it's Kung Fu, Karate, or whatever, KNOW YOUR ART! FOLLOW YOUR PATH! MASTER YOUR BASICS!!!

The only thing is, when you go that low in kiba dachi, you have to remain that low when changing direction and he doesn't do that ;) No critique here, wish i could do it like that.

Perfect kiba-dachi. He has got very strong legs, he's staying rock-like, doesn't he... :) His positions are ideal examples to be followed. Nice performace in general.

It is called ibuki which means forced breath. It can been seen during other Kyokushin katas such as Sanchin and Tensho. It helps strengthen the diaphram and stomach and can be used to recover from being winded
