1:57 the kote from Blanchard did not count because Mandia landed a simultaneous kote (ai kote) at the same time, and finshed Blanchard of with a men.
Blanchard´s kote might have hit, but it was an aiuchi-situation, neither Blanchard nor Mandia awarded the point for kote but Mandia received an ippon because he went on with a men that hit Blanchard.
2:13 Why should it not count? It´s an outstanding Debana Kote that hit Blanchards Kote long before he could score Men.
Mandia's kote at 2:13 was not iki-kote, you can see his fumikomi is going ahead, only his zanshin then was backwards but yoku-datotsu was realized

Thanks for the response. I just can't see any attempt for ai kote at 1:57, only men.
2:13 is not a hiki kote but is totally backwards.
I am not criticizing, just trying to understand.

Well, thats an easy one:
1:57 the kote from Blanchard did not count because Mandia landed a simultaneous kote (ai kote) at the same time, and finshed Blanchard of with a men.
Blanchard´s kote might have hit, but it was an aiuchi-situation, neither Blanchard nor Mandia awarded the point for kote but Mandia received an ippon because he went on with a men that hit Blanchard.

Would someone possibly explain to me how can they not count the white kote at 1:57 and count the red kote at 2:13?
