@wurstsausage Yeah the conversation is alternating between two kinds of Chinese: Shanghainese, an informal kind of "casual" dialect and "Pu tong hua", or Mandarin. I think the clerk's deliberate use of Mandarin is like a request for the insane woman to keep things polite and impersonal.
Oh and she needs to take that huge wrench out of her ass. It's damaging her social image.
