A dressy woman placed her bag onto an expensive piano displayed in a piano store in Shanghai. The shop assistant who babied the display item told the woman that she was going to put the car somewhere else. Then the woman threw a great fit.
What claims attention is, while both the shop assistant and the manager spoke Mandarin, the woman was talking in Shanghainese dialect from the beginning till the end. The dialect was unintelligible to non-speakers from other parts of China except two neighboring provinces.

  • man when the part the manager says the real price~ that just ownedddd!!!

  • hmm, kinda have a feeling that this might be a set up, but i absolutely believe there are countless similar occasions happening all the time there....sigh, what can I say, maybe these ppl are born with a certain genes to be bitches?

  • @wurstsausage Yeah the conversation is alternating between two kinds of Chinese: Shanghainese, an informal kind of "casual" dialect and "Pu tong hua", or Mandarin. I think the clerk's deliberate use of Mandarin is like a request for the insane woman to keep things polite and impersonal.

Oh and she needs to take that huge wrench out of her ass. It's damaging her social image.

  • is this fake?

  • things like this happens all the time. just not much chinese can surfing YOUTUBE
