  • For this particular track the effects were assigned to the knobs. The faders aren't just for volume, they can be assigned to anything. In this case the knobs were doing the faders job. Just because I'm not using the faders doesn't mean I'm not triggering loops on the fly.

If you pay attention you'll notice that after pressing a button (to start the clip playing) i adjust the knob near to that button (to bring in the cutoff filter and make the sound audible)

  • Holy fuck, I was looking for a knob & fader only controller, and all of them are quite expensive. This one is dirt cheap and has lots of stuff on it.

  • This is a great track. Also, I've been trying to convince my friends to start out with a controller like the nanokontrol before getting a more expensive controller

  • wow, this is really great work !

  • GREAAAT !

  • @sanrldv If the really easy and clear instructions from the 2 page manual are too difficult for you you should consider buying a flute or a guitar.

  • I checked your vid twice and now I have the NK2! I hope Korg has rewarded you for your demo on proper use of their product, cos their own promo vid sucks big time. Perhaps I didn't buy it if your song sucked but I like it. Could have been one of my own songs, hehe.

It took me about 2 hours max to install the controller and rewire my step sequencer in cubase (which I never used before) and start mixing down my own tunes. This little device is what I have been waiting for, I think I'm in love!

  • Hello Cressida, I recently saw this video and we want to know, how do you get the buttons from the nanoKontrol work like flashing.

The other question is how can we get the nanoKorg works with Ableton without mapping.

    Thanks

  • we have the same mouse, ive gotten that mouse 4 times in a row now since prob 2009 lol

  • @EverLightMusic Have you made a CD? Im not really into downloads... but if you ever made an album I would buy it in a heartbeat!!

  • what software do you use?
