  • where did you find these recordings?

  • Torrent sites, bootleg/ROIO sites, filesharing programs, blogs. Lots of places. Everything I've posted I've found someplace on the internet, with the exception of three tracks that I was given. A few friends of mine helped me locate some of the places to download these things, as some of the websites are quite obscure.

  • Oh man, this song kept me alive many years ago.

  • This is awesome, played and sang with so much more feeling than any other version I've heard. I prefer the 'Easy chair' reference too.

Kinda sad tho, it sounds like a confession to his mum . . . or a aknowledgement of what he was doing to himself.

The cost of which he sadly, eventually paid.

  • shame this was such a fatalistic song Super version though PL never to be forgotten

  • One of my favorite things about this song is the use of the first person. Most lizzy songs revolve around "johnny" or some other character that i usually assume to be phil, but using I and My gives this song a very personal touch.

  • one of my favs from phil RIP phil we miss you

  • FIRST TIME I HAVE HEARD THIS VERSION BRILLIANT LIZZY ALLWAYS MY NUMBER ONE!!!

  • Thanks for posting. In my opinion Lizzy were/are the best band ever. Nice to have an insite into their music.

  • I've never enjoyed bongos so much

  • That stuff....oh that stuff...

  • this version is awesome

  • This is such a strange version. Way more pretty and creepy that the official recording.

  • some of these obscure recordings and bootlegs come from "Phil lynnot: The man and his music" series.

Very cool to hear this stuff
