great tutorial, one question, i have had addys pop, if this is one constructed piece and the addy pops then how do you replace it without a complete deconstruct?

@y2kbird The atty screws into the atty connector. The atty connector is permanetly attached but the atty can just be un screwed and a new one screwed in.

It is very hard to solder to alluminum, so having 2 holes with the ground wire wrapped around them and soldered together seemed to work best for me. I havwe tried a few other methods of attaching ground to the FL body and this is what stays together the best.

THOUGHTS:
I don't agree with heat shrinking all your solder points since you're encapsulating them in JB Weld?
Noticed there was plenty of space in the body with the batteries to internallize the ground for a cleaner look. Why not score the inner wall with a file or dremel and solder the ground that way? If you're set on grounding with it showing externally, I would suggest drilling a hole in the body for a screw, using JB Weld to anchor it and then soldering the ground to the now internal post

@hossmonkey1 I heat shirk everyuthiong cause it is easy to get a short when you moving stuff around before the JB weld- but you right it is not really neccassary. The neg. connection to the FL Body though in my oppinion is the best way to do this..

LOL ... After watching all 10 Episodes I was counting down to see how you did the JB weld seal/mold only to have you completely bypass it? Love the complete steps and talking through it! Sounds to me like it was none to early to have stopped smoking cigarettes! Thanks for the tutorial will look you up!

@hossmonkey1 Sorry Man, I couldn't find anyone to hold the camera while I was JB welding it. Basically you just cover the LED's and switch with duct tape then mix the JB weld blob it on and start forming it around the switch and lights till it gets hard in about 4 min.
