I love her commitment to the songs and to their expression. That makes it refreshing and enjoyable for me to watch and never boring (what happens easily to me, if music is to much "classical".

@SuperJohnnykay :Iagree, someone of her calibre,ie a truly gifted coloratura soprano, yet, not all sopranos can crossover and sing a popular song.She does this with ease and displays her usual clarity and sensitivity.Super

Moi non plus, je ne demanderais pas à Patricia Petibon l'adresse de son coiffeur, mais elle possède un tempérament, une chaleur et aussi une curiosité qui la mettent à son aise dans tous les répertoires. Elle dit qu'elle chante Rameau, Mozart ou les Queens, et c'est Patricia Petibon qu'on entend. Ce n'est pas donné à tout le monde.
