Thank you Lauren for your candid videos. I was just told by my doctor that she wants me to consider Tysabri. I am scared though about the PML issue. But at the same time, I like the idea of no shots each week or the chemo that they have been trying on me to slow things down. God has given you the gift of being able to help others. I believe that each of us goes through this disease for a reason. I pray that you continue to do well on the Tysabri and I look forward to your future updates.

Hi Kerry! I would love for you to go on Tysabri! Don't be worried about PML - they ask you all of the other medications that you're taking before they'll give Tysabri in order to prevent PML.
If you're currently taking chemo, you'll have to stop taking it for a while to get it out of your system before they'll give you Tysabri. Please keep me posted!

I wanted to tell you your videos are going to be very helpful to others, especially those who are newly diagnosed. There are 3 MS centers near me which are world class. I took steroids twice and had terrible reactions to them. I have had no further episodes bad enough to warrant any more steroids. I really want to start more excercise and have been given a treadmill. So no more weather related excuses. Keep up the great info!! Louann

Thanks Louann! I'm glad that you haven't had any more episodes that would require steroids - that's great! And I know what you mean about weather excuses...my elliptical is in the house so I have no excuses! But exercising will keep us stronger!! Good luck!
