The largest photo-voltaic installation in the world is located near Arnstein, Germany. While visiting my family, my friend Sepp offered to take us there, a short distance from Schweinfurt.

  • Just to calm everyone down a bit, this farmer used to grow grapes there for wine and is now collecting solar powered electricity, his choice.

  • @csiegert83 The land owner used to grow grapes for wine there and decided to go solar, that is his decission.

  • This used to be the largest solar power plant!!!

  • That is not important at this point abd it is good to seee more and larger.

  • They have electric cars now with solar roofs, pretty soon we'll have solar houses, garages, with sunlight charging our cars, complete freedom!!! Thats if the Waffen HOA (home owners ass-ociation) dosen't fuck it up for everyone for "not having pretty roofs"!!

  • @csiegert83 no theres actually WAY more.... but for one turbine field thats a average(a big one on land), solar pannels dont take much environment out, allot of insects will actually still life there, just like a turbine farm, but they dont "kill" birds, some birds actually learn to survive in urban territory

but its not like if it was a forest before, it was a field with no trees(growing something)

  • @5T34LTHcamoT4NK Did you count them all?

  • @csiegert83 wind turbines kill arround 500 birds per year, and you need a professional to build them

  • @csiegert83 you're a dickhead, wind turbines have nothing on solar power's efficiency and aesthetics.

  • Hydro is far better 24hr a day.

  • WHy the scary music in the background?

  • @danielkoepf If the saudis were smart then along with their other cousins they should be producing solar energy since most of them have nothing but plenty of sunshine and sand, apart from the luckier ones who still have rapidly declining oil reserve. It seems the world is not always governed by logic.

  • @NeoAltPower Dont forget the little windmills!

  • no melt down
