On February 12 the East Rutherford Fire Department was dispatched to 59 John Street for a working fire in a 3 story mixed o/m/d with a bar on the first floor. PD being first on scene rescued a man hanging out of a third floor window. Truck 1 arrived on the scene and set up their ladder. The Chief requested a second alarm to the scene and a FAST team from Wallington. Crews made their way to the third floor but were later pulled out due to heavy fire in the cockloft. A 3rd and 4th alarm were also transmitted. 1 firefighter and 2 civilians were transported to the hospital.
