@trustChristJesus and for those people who only had a radio, it should have been broadcasted with a very high priority, I doubt that that happened, it was probably never put on the radio or it was not covered by the main stations.

@trustChristJesus i think the main problem is that it was not televised at all or at least not very much. This speech was to the press I think, and we all know (or should) that the propoganda agendas (in the media also) were already in motion during his presidency. I could hardly believe that if most people heard this speech when he made it (meaning, if it was adressed to the people) that they would just idly continue thier life as it was.
