Praeludium in g

Nicolaus Bruhns (1665 - 1697)

The Prelude in g, not undisputed in its ascription to Bruhns, is in its form designed in a manner contrary to the other free pieces in that it clearly shows the two-part division of prelude (with improvisational introductions and pedal solos) and fugue.

  • Magnificent ... thanks for uploading ! Keep it up.

  • Sorry about the multilpe copies of my original enquiry. Honestly, I only sent it once!

Many thanks! (And for your uploads of similar North German organ music. Those Bach precursors - for want of a better way of describing them collectively - have fascinated me for many years).
