Knee down for the first time GSXR600

I made up my mind to get my knee on the tarmac while cornering and refused to give up, i got there in the end.
Thanks to the guys on the Fastbike forum for the advice and to the Crazy Bloke from Barnsley on the Gixer thou who just started following me round until i did it, then stuck the thumbs up and wheelied off into the night!!!

BTW, your foot is exactly where it should be.

Great, but a track day would have been a lot more safe, and you would build a lot more confidence. Tracks have way more grip, and no cars.

@4fyussef What are you talking about? I am hard on my breaks till I hit the apex of the corner. That is the best way to keep heat in your front tire. Makes it a lot safer.

You would do better if you place teh ball of ya foot on teh end of your pegs not in on the pegs as your vid displays, you did well everything needs to be right to get it to happen, trust me though place your foot on the outside of the peg, more comfortable and better all round for body position etc.
Looking good though, now the left leg lol always a Bummer.

Works better for me with my foot in against the frame dude, plus i never wear out my boots on the deck.
I wear my peg out now instead on the track... check my other vids. ;-)
