  • Dude thats definitely a wicked fucking 2V, but why did you spend so much money on that when you could of bought a 4 or 3 valve and made the same horsepower for far less?

  • We all mentioned that to Tommy, but he started on it when he got in in 99. The biggest thing is that he had a Supra, and we said he should've put the money into that car. He'd be running 7's or 8's for sure with that kinda time and money in a Supra.

  • I assumed it was a lengthy build process and he didnt do it all at once but to blow stroke and camm a 4.6 takes TIME and MONEY. So if you have that kind of cash flow you could of built something way faster. But none the less its a cool car, and its a 2V which is faster then my LS1. I never thought Id say that.

  • Well, you know how fast it would be if it were an LS motor. It would be insane, but Tommy is a hardcore Mustang guy. Plus, Boost fixes alot. :-)

  • @helloman1976 Sure you dont need those mods to have a 500whp engine... but you do need it to use it. The stock transmissions in the GT cars T45/T5/T3650 are not built for those stresses. It would be dangerous to use the stock driveshaft and the rear end needs to be upgraded to the 31 spline axles along with an aftermarket LSD to get that power to the gound. The control arms get the axle squat under control and the rest of the suspension manages the power. I like complete builds.

  • @DaBluedude100 You don't need anything like that to make 500whp, bolt on a procharger and you're almost there. A stock 302 block would be fine however you'd want to get a built short block and a procharger and you're on your way to making 500whp+. A procharger and a brand new forged 302 short block still isn't even $10,000 lol... For under $10,000 I can make more like 550whp+++ all day long. I make 620whp/570tq on mine :)

  • @helloman1976 you mean with a fully forged stroker kit... and another 10 k in fuel, transmission, driveline, and rear end modification... aint cheap man...

  • @djkyson i know this comment is old but every time you do a stroker kit your always gonna bore 20 over at least. so its definitely got some block work... just to bore the cylinders out for the rebuild... dunno anyone who would ever rebuild the bottom end without boring it just to resurface the cylinder walls...

  • Nice 2v powa. Check out my 665 whp 2V.

  • nice car

  • @TdUfAn1 i'll agree to disagree

  • Nice...was that the PnP guys tuning ya in denver?

  • @d16powerplant ur cool

  • I mean ye , more valves, more pressure, more power... but you can't get that throaty old hotrod engine sound anywhere else.
