My first 'real' try at timelapse photography. The camera was literally sitting on my front steps. 4 sec exposure/f4/iso800/15sec interval.

The good news is, it worked. The bad news is, there are hot pixels. I have seen some suggestions, and will work on those.

In retrospect, there is enough light, nor enough contrast. I think using a faster lense, f1.4, will make a world of difference.

  • Does your camera do timed exposure too? You can get some stars in the frame, too, if you bump the exposure time up to 4 seconds (minumum) with max ISO and F setting. :D
