German Shepherd in 1st NY Snow of 2010 (Kodak C143 Test)

VIDEO TEST. Does poor on zooming depth and quality. Zooming button clicking noise is annoying. Rattle from telescoping lense is annoying. Clearly operates at no more than 30fps. However, it does well taking Photos and has a variety of shooting settings including Panoramic (which is awesome). Don't buy a Digital Camera expecting to produce a proper quality video - Buy a Digital CamCorder.

Your dog is so cute! I have an 8-month-old female German Shepherd and I live in Ontario (so obviously we have lots of snow haha) and every time I take her for a walk, she buries her face into a snowbank and tries to burrow her whole body inside of it hahaha she'll do it for literally 5 minutes, so cute.

@ATCRyderX Haha mine too. She loves the water. We actually bought one of those plastic sandboxes that are for little kids and filled it with water, so she has her own pool.

@LindsayLovesMac haha thats cool! I have a kiddy pool for mine in the summer. He enjoys that. Whats weird is we have beachside property at my "Camp" up the road and he has no interest whatsover in going in the Lake. Maybe this summer.

How did you get the sound to work on your video.... I can't figure it out?!

@Juanofuerza heh um...Maybe you've got your hand over the microphone while your recording? You realize theres no built in speaker, correct? If you want to see your video with sound, you need to export it to a computer or TV.

@cookirman Not Stupid at all. Alot of people think that because they assume New York City reprsents all of New York. This is UpState NY. 75% of NYC is a complete shithole. New York is a very diverse state.

How long does battery life last and what kind you recommend?

if you want to play video with sound you just have upgrade your media player version or you can download VLC Player from any website just the problem is that Kodak use new sound codecs for C143 Camera phone thats why when you play video in computer it doesn't support new codec video correctly...just google and download VLC player download any new version into your pc... :) bee happy i love to use C143 Kodak... :)

for a vga this is pretty good quality but yeh suffers on zoom, I'm waiting on the waterproof one so i'm guessing the video quality will be nearer to this version.

thats cute! i have a 13 month shepherd but yours is lighter than mine
