Applicants for Spousal or Fiancee Visas must prepare complicated petition packages, I-129F or I-130. Here I describe the service where I take a look at the work you have done, giving it an expert and critical review. I look for errors, omissions and inconsistencies. I check that required supporting documents have been supplied. Then I look for and recommend what optional documents should be added to prove a genuine relationship. And finally I add editorial comments and suggestions on any writing, especially descriptions of the history of the relationship. http://www.fianceevisaservices.com/petitionreview.html

  • Yes, he will go back for sure!! Has a round trip ticket and still has a job over there and rather wait on either CR1 or K3 to go through. We are still not sure because after year and half of living and workin here we wanna move to U.K --should we get k3 or CR1? and just abandon it when we leave? We want the cheapest, fastest one where he can work legally asap and also travel back n forth (I know theres a certain petition for that just dont know when to file that one)

  • Marriage then apply for CR1 visa is the correct procedure to follow. For more details it is best that you telephone me directly to discuss 1-800-806-3210 x 702

  • HELP! Im gunna marry my bf here in us in april and we were thinkin of doing the CR1 because he needs to work here legally asap. Hes only visiting on visitor's visa for 2 weeks so hes goin back, then we were gunna file the paperwork. Will immigration not like this? Ceremony will be short with freinds and family. Is it bad he wont have a family member? We were gunna say it was last min decision while he was in town? Will it still be ok as long as we prove we are bona fide-we go on lots of vacations

  • If you are saying after you marry, your fiance will return to wait for the spousal visa, then that is the proper procedure. If you are saying he plans to try to stay past the expiry date of his visitor visa, then "No, immigration will not like this". Since you are planning now to marry and for him to stay, then that means he would be committing immigration fraud. He could end up banned for life.

I see :) , Ok thank you very much I will surely subscribe to your newsletter.

  • The average time that USCIS and Department of State take to process fiancee and spousal visas is a "moving target". It changes depending on what is happening at USCIS and DOS. What I stated in the video was accurate at the time the video was recorded. Currently (October 2011) most K1's are taking 5 - 7 months, CR-1's 12 - 14 months, K3's are not being processed. Subscribe to my newsletter where I provide regular updates as to what is going on.

In the video it has table that shows comparison of K1,K3 and CR1 and shows that the 3 have the same length of time like 7-8 months as amended in 2010. So the revision is not true?

  • If your US citizen bf applies for a Fiancee Visa it probably will take 5 to 7 months. If instead you marry, then apply for a CR1 spousal visa it probably will take 12 - 16 months. If you want to be united with your bf sooner, then you should apply for the fiancee visa and plan to marry after you arrive in the USA.

Mr. Wahl the 12-16 is only for those not a US citizen, right? me and my boyfriend want to file a CR1 or spousal visa and my fiance is a US citizen, so just want clarification, since my fiance is US citizen it will not take 12-16 months, is this correct?
