Semper Paratus to those who are serving and veterans such as I. From the lowest bosun all the way up to the admirals, we are truly the few and the proud given our area of operations.

Look,
there should be no animosity against any US Armed Forces branches...
Unfortunately "The Guardian" was right... they do only care about us when they need us.
I can tell you from experience, I have worked with ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE, and MARINES... and you know what? If it wasn't for ALL of THEM, I would not be here today!

@nojeezy and.. your wrong. But you dont know any better because.. Your probably a puddle pirate.
-
@schance what service did you serve in? CG is doin way more than any other branch. LE and SAR is way more important than baby sitting a 3rd world country.
-
So, Schance - you still haven't told us what branch you either serve in, or were honorably discharged from. Before you think about turning the tables, I can truthfully answer the same question with USN 1968-72, Army 72-75, USN 75-80, USCG Aux 2007-present. If you don't think we are doing a good enough job, why don't you come out and put your butt on the line to help out? I'm sure that the Armed Forces could make great use of your superior intellect and selfless love of Freedom's Defenders.

TriumVirateABAP; What the F--- are you talking about. Don't you ever read anything? If your so worried about the different services I suggest you read up on each one of them before you critize.

Who is the Checked in political moves leadership never tells, but it is according to station; even station takes a shift when positions move in and out by choice. When some hear a CALL to step up, they do.
We all know how far some got within our waters & and soil, all need to remember how LOOSE our borders were...

I am so sorry you feel that way. I served 10 yrs RegNav as a Corpsman, incl tours with the USMC, 3 yrs as an Army Medic, and now serve with USCG guys as an Auxiliarist. They fight just as hard - protecting us from the bad guys who got past the other services and are ramping up to our shores. When they take a hit for us, they bleed just as badly, and when they die, they are just as dead as any Marine, Sailor, Airman, or Soldier.
