Pokemon Platinum - Catching Articuno

Gallade and I went out and caught ourselves a new friend Articuno!

To get the the birds all you need to do is get the national dex then talk to professor oak at Pal Park, then talk to him in Eterna City and he will say that the 3 Birds have been spotted in Sinnoh, then they will appear on the Marking Map, just like Cresselia and Mesprit.

thats works well, but you need something to get it's hp down low, so i use mean look. But yes wobbuffet isn't such a bad option.

get national dex, go to pal park, visit oak in eterna city, then you can find it roaming sinnoh.

D: dfsnghdjsghdjsfg!!!!! gaaahhhh!!!!!i just deleted my pokemon so i could get my master ball back and catch articuno but ya can catch it with a dusk ball!?!?!?! OH MY LORD!!!!!

catching it with wobbefet or dugtrio makes it easier, since they cant flee

have a pokemon in ur party that has good speed, preferably something faster than articuno, see if that helps.

Lmao, guess what. I just met articuno and i couldnt attack cuz it would escape so i used 1 ultra ball when it had full health and i got it. Made me loll a bit..

use mean look it worked for me for mesprit

use quick claw. and an easier (but longer) way to catch them is to have a Pokemon put them to sleep, (quick claw for lower levels) i used Roserade and grasswhistle. Get their HP down to one with Gallade or Scyther using false swipe(high levels work best but quick clawing it is good too) when they flee its good, because quick balls never go out of style :D

hm i cant use mean look cuz articuno always escapes before any of my pokemons can damage it...

i just use a wobbuffet but my wobbuffet keeps killing articuno with mirror coat...

its so ANNOYING
