Excerpt from stirring speech given by Nainoa Thompson; he speaks about how things have changed for Hawaiians in the last 30 years, but there is much more to do; describes his visits to struggling charter schools; describes the "Hawaiian Renaissance" as "a Hawaiian revolution"; Hawaiians are "at a crossroads." (Video footage isn't great, but the audio is the important part.)

Mr. Thompson is a Kamehameha Schools Trustee and Executive Director of the Polynesian Voyaging Society (Ku I Ka Pono march for Kamehameha Schools, San Francisco, Ca. August 2005; video footage © 2006 D.McAdow)
