Rally for America with U.S. Senator Harry Reid and Congressman Luis Gutierrez advocating for Comprehensive Immigration Reform.
Around 50 people from the Bay Area participated, thanks to bus transportation provided by SIREN. The Rally had close to 10,000 supporters.
Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid confirmed his support for CIR. Senator Reid said that there are 56 votes for comprehensive immigration reform in the United States Senate. Ive got 59 Democratic senators, all but 3 would support this, said Reid. I want a handful of Republicans, a few Republicans, let them step forwardThere is no excuse.
