Gnoll Chieftain Tree Exploit (Warriors Challenge Solo Mode) - (Vindictus Early Access Open Beta)

Okay so it was my first time fighting Gnoll Chieftain and I was having a hard time of it, until I stumbled onto a method for abusing this tree in the area to make my time of it much easier.

I had to shut off the video capture after being hit because it was destroying my frame rate and I didn't want to risk an incapacitation, but you get a half decent example of using the tree to help measure the distance of his hits and/or keep him at bay; it also prevents him from kicking you while you can hit him through the tree.

This was done while doing the 'Warriors Challenge - Solo Mode', I was level 11 at the time, and had some pretty nubish gear that got damaged/broken sometime in the first 10-15 minutes of my fight with him. lol

Okay this may technically be an "exploit" BUT it's not really; I mean it's more of a technique. Relabeling would cause less flame.

It's nothing super ground breaking.

@ThatOneAtheist I think the main problem is that not enough people learn correct definitions to words and simply associate similar meaning words too much these days. /shrug

Sure, it's not game breaking, but it sure is nice not having him kick us while we can pound on him all we want without the normal extra risk. lol

@Anobrax This technique would be a lot harder for most people because almost everyone else uses the wide open spaces as the advantage. When the chieftain throws down his hammer u slipdash towards him and do an LLR combo. When he spins you stay out of the AoE just long enough then move to him using LLLLR(only hit him with the smash). When it comes down to hit, using the tree is nice but blocks DPS and getting hit my the smash is worse than getting hit by the kicks...

@ThatOneAtheist Yea, I do the run around in circles thing as well, this was just my first encounter with him and I used it a couple times after, till I had his timing down.

The hammer hits never become a problem because if doing it right he'll get stuck on the tree, and at that point is when one strikes him through the tree. :)
