You need to add a Blackberry Data Plan on you're account AND manually configure the phone with the correct settings.

Edge? That sucks. Good job on getting it to work on att though. couldn't have been easy

Yeah EDGE does suck, but the 3G part on the phone is only enabled for CDMA networks.

The Storm 9530 is a Cross Network phone (CDMA & GSM) so it does have a SIM card slot. Had to just get it Unlocked for it to detect at&t. But getting the Data Settings to work on at&t was the tough part since at&t does not have the Blackberry Service Books for it. Ofcourse i wouldn't be able to do this without the help of some Blackberry pro's. So the real kudos goes to them !

I saw on your today screen that you have att navigator as well as vz navigator? Does att's gps service really work on it? I heard complaints about verizon's locked version crippling google maps and that is just plain disappointing

Well, it's not Att GPS service. GPS satellites are what is used to make the GPS functional and those are not owned by the service providers. And Verizon has not blocked the GPS receiver on the Storm, so yeah GPS works all the way ! On VZ NAV, att NAV , BB Maps and Google maps.

If I put the iphone sim in the unlocked storm and configure the correct settings could I surf the web?
