  • Hi I just bought an Apple and Logic studio 9, and I haven't a clue where to start! I want to produce electrnic (Trance) music, and this software just seems too complicated.. My friend says to buy Reason 5, as that's a lot simpler. But I don't want to spend a few hundred pounds again on another software. So my Q is, has Logic studio 9 got everything REason has?

  • @astagfaar Check your inbox mate..

  • @astagfaar As soon as you learn the basics of both your genre and your production technique, it's not hard to learn.

I use both Logic and Reason 5 + Record, and everything you can do with R&R can be done in Logic.

  • @Hejzwej Agreed totally, Gareth Emery used Fruit loops or something like this software for his first track which he got signed, now hes 8th DJ/Producer in the world, so once you have the basics the rest should come with time

  • Great job mate! how long did logic take you to learn?

  • @mikkkeeABLE - About a year to be honest with you, even now I am learning, so much to learn and now not a lot of time with working, do you produce?
