Tom talks about this radio show in his mini documentary. lol
-
That is what i call a geniunely beautiful voice
-
Im agree, ofc the voce change when ur growing, exp when he sings so much. and he smokes to ( ! ) but i love keane and i think tom sings great!
And for those who think tom cant get to the high notes, ,He can! he just dosen't try, i know he can, and maybe sometimes he try but fail, but there is a reason for that, and that is cause the setlists of live shows is much longer now than it was back in the old days, and all the hard songs is in the end of the show,

@TheOlyflo I thought this was perfectly fine performance... I don't see what everyone's problem is... maybe I'm not listening to the same audio... :P
-
omg. this discussion is stupid...he sings nowadays better than eve...just listen the older live gigs and nowadays gigs...his voice is more clearer than never... in the drug addiction period tom's voice was clearly affected...true this may not be his best performance, but the songs arent the same...perfect symmetry is an agressive electric album. we cannot compare h&f with p.s.

I have no problem admitting Tom's voice has -changed-. I do have a problem with your comment: "he´s trying so hard to reach the notes in every song,". The "trying hard" you speak about might be the energy/force behind the notes he hits, but I don't think it's a "struggle" for him to reach them. Yes, he's voice used to be "sweeter", and I believe it could still be just as sweet, but that he is choosing to alter it deliberately. That's what good artists do--develop, adapt, experiment.
