Die Unterwasserdaten kommen aus anderen Quellen (nicht Satbilder), die relativ grob sind. Um dann feinere Strukturen aufzulösen, wird mit Grobdaten ein Feinraster

gerechnet. Die benutzten Verfahren beruhen auf Interpolation und das kann zu den besagten Mustern führen. Das Ganze sind also Artefakte der Kartenberechnung.

Aber interessant und spannend war der Fund in jedem Fall.

lol...schon gehört das holland in absehbarer zeit ebenso unter wasser sein wird? erstens, der meeresspiegel is nicht für immer konstant und zweitens, stichwort plattenteknonik ;)

die sollten mal möglichst viele interessante koordinaten finden lassen, analysieren, und nochmal hinschwimmen! die bei google verdienen genug um sowas zu starten.
