The End by The Beatles was released on September 26, 1969. It was the last song recorded collectively by all four of The Beatles. It was recorded 23 July-18 August 1969. It is the 16th track on the Beatles album Abbey Road.

Ok you made me cry ^^". Well actually I'm sad everytime I hear this song. Knowing it's the last song they ever recorded....But the Beatles are never going to end as long as they have fans their music will live through ages !

@jroxx11211 It was actually three two-bar guitar solos each. Paul, George, John. Paul says that each solo reflects one another. Also, listen to the Anthology 3 version on I think disk 2. That was the original that they played. Ringo didn't actually play a solo knowingly, they just dubbed the instruments out. Listen to it, such a good version!

In one of their small documentaries, one of them (im pretty sure john) was like: stop it you disgusting middle aged squares! I laughed my butt off, i love the beatles...

@TheFabFour14 first paul plays eight bars, then george does, then john, its the one and only beatles song where all 3 beatles play lead guitar, and the only drum solo ringo ever did as a beatle, very fitting for their last song!
