Harper has crushing poll lead on crisis

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Prime Minister Harper has mounted a crushing polling lead as the result of a political crisis in which an opposition coalition sought to take power, a new survey showed on Friday.

If an election were held now, Harper's Conservatives would take a whopping 46 percent of the vote, more than enough to transform his minority into a strong majority. In the Oct 14 election they received 37.6.

Forestry...we have to see what Mr. Obama will do since he DID say during his campaign that he is going to revisit NAFTA. Canada is MASSIVELY tied to the US economy. One thing that is positive out of all this......and please I mean this as a positive......it is great to see people getting involved and having a say on what our government is doing. I do support the coalition by the way. We would not be having this discussion today if Harper would have done for Canada what he told the G20 leaders he would. Have a stimulus package for the economy!!

Let me get this right.Steven Harper tells the G20 he will have a stimlus package.Then he tells Canada to there isn't one.Then he says he will allow the confidence vote to go ahead.Then he shuts down parliament.Are you anti-coalition supporters really okay with these lies????
