The 2001 Macedonia War was an armed conflict which began when the ethnic Albanian KLA (UCK) terrorists group attacked the security forces of the Republic of Macedonia at the beginning of January 2001.
The Albanian terrorists from KLA (UCK) are firing at anyone that moves in the parts of Tetovo . Fortified in the hills above Tetovo, they constantly get reinforcements from Kosovo, which is across the Shar Mountain. Their aim is to provoke ethnic Macedonians to turn against Albanian population of Macedonia, stage massacres and turn it into another Kosovo.
