i'm sorry to say this....but no mustang GT can beat a new GTO....period...i don't know how many people have tried and failed...but the new GTO's are the bomb!!! :] new GTO's with the right driver's can run mid to high 12's....the GT's are just mid 13's

right. the blue gto which was the ls1 i wasted as you could see in the video. lol the black gto was the ls2. i was vedry suprised that i got him as much as i did. i was expecting that thing to just blow my doors off.

it was stick. i think he told me that he has had the car for a couple of weeks now. im sure that it will be a much closer race when he gets more used to the car. the LS2 gto's are low 13s through the 1/4 if im not mistaken. and im sure my car is a mid to low 13 second car

i have an 04 mustang gt and was raped by a gto lol. they are way faster stock for stock than a gt.

To JB you're wrong about the GTO's not standing a chance from a dig. I've proved that to be wrong already with my LS1 GTO. It's all about the driver.

no man...no new GTO is going to lose to a 13.7 mustang GT...unless the guy/girl can't drive at all...and they aren't great from a dig...but they will do better than a 13.7...GTO's are supposed to be awesome from a 30 roll though...and STOCK mustang GT's are one of the slowest musclecar remakes of them all...compared to the Challenger, GTO's, Camaro's...but they might beat the Charger...if it's lucky...with mods on the GT and none on the LS1 and LS2's...it might...but it will have to run low 12's

Nice win man. LS2's are a great run. I have basically the same mods as you. I have BBK CAI, 3.73's, O/R H pipe with custom Magnaflow mid-muffler system and SCT tune from Brenspeed. When I installed those things it was like a brand new car! Havnt been to the track yet, but hope to soon.

Im sorry to say, but your response is completly wrong. My stock 06 Mustang GT was running 13.7's w/subs and full tank. I was taking down LS1's and running with LS2's all day. Ive done some mods now and am running LS2's. From a dig those cars dont stand a chance. They have great powerful engines but the cars are no where near how fast they should be with how heavy they are.

And a stock 5speed GT with slicks on it can run 12.9's. I have seen it done. Sorry to burst your bubble about the GTO's.
