  • love what you are doing. although i feel your work will ultimately benefit the world. have a few fears that you might unknowingly introduce something dangerous with your experiments.

No worries, we are not releasing anything without consulting experts in their fields, USDA, EPA, and other heads of Academia. Thank you for the nice comments, we have been lucky with a few rare finds that could help relieve some major source pollution. Cheers, TRADD

  • great video, you have great jobs, i wish i could work with mushrooms helping to save the enviroment, keep up the good work

  • hey dean, you are already working on your cultivation. keep up the great work yourself, it is awesome that you have included yourself on our planet's mushrooms army.

  • @sporeprints Would Oyster Mushrooms clean up an oil (chemical) dump? It's an old quarry that was once filled with water but is now crusted over. Local council have been quoted 100 million to clean it up. Do you think it's possable and how would best be done?

  • Oyster mushrooms are extremely efficient. I would definitely consider it an option. It has been proven in the field. You can contact Mushroom Mountain if you want any assistance, we can consult or advise at any level. Where are you located and where can I find some information about the brownfield?

  • These Lentinus lepideus for remediation would not be edible, but can be used to hyperaccumulate. The fruiting bodies can be disposed of at political luncheons...

  • @deantothea awesome! do u know how great u have it? Saving the planet! keep it up!

  • @sporeprints That is quit possibly the best idea I've ever heard in my life. Mushroom cultivators need to keep our study's under the radar, you know what happened to the electric car. They want to finish pumping all the oil out of the earth before they even consider anything else, same will probably happen with mushroom. They shit themselves if they find out we're learning to be self sufficient.

  • Tradd, you were great at Southern SSAWG 2011 in Chattanooga! After catching both of your sessions, I want to do your April workshop, especially to partake of your great humor, as well as your huge knowledge bank.

Catch Tradd in person at a conference and you will be both enlightened and ENTERTAINED! Too funny!

  • @sporeprints Thanks for getting back. Yes, I've seen what they can do to oil waste on TED. Amazing. I'll contact you direct to show you a link I found. I'm from North Wales, UK.

  • Thanks Tradd, another excellent video. The toughest part will be to get people onboard. Probably 95% of Albertans believe there is no global warming or no anything, it's all good as the kids say.
